Question
Can I use a Virtual Number with international reach to receive messages or calls worldwide?
Applies To
- Long Virtual Number (LVN)
- International Reach
- Inbound SMS
- Inbound Voice calls
Answer
International Inbound reach refers to a number's ability to receive SMS or calls. Inbound reach is guaranteed when messages come from a domestic number, in other words, when the Long Virtual Number and the sender belong to the same country. When it comes to International Reach, some of our LVNs, such as Sweden, tend to have a better international inbound reach. However, this comes on a best-effort basis, as it will ultimately depend on inter-carrier agreements.
