How to change a secondary user to the account primary user?

Objective

To switch an existing secondary user to the primary user of an account when organizations want to change the account owner.

Procedure

  1. Please note account email address cannot be reused, which means one email address can only be associated with one account (primary/secondary). To free up your secondary account email address (A), please log into the dashboard as the secondary account and change your email address to another one (B), for example, your personal email address. 
  2. Log into the dashboard as a secondary user using the new email address (B), and make sure you can see your account information with this email address.
  3. Log out of the secondary account and log in as the primary user. Click "My Profile" to edit the account email address (C) to the secondary account email address (A) you just freed up and save the changes.
  4. Log out of your account and log in again with the new primary email address (A) to make sure you're the account owner now.
