Question
What's the difference between What is Subaccount API and Secondary Account API?
Applies To
- Account APIs
Answer
The Subaccount API is only offered to Partners (with restricted availability), and the creation of subaccounts is meant for its end users.
To get access to the Subaccounts API, contact your account manager. Vonage Partners get access automatically.
A Secondary API key is offered to any API account so that an additional key and secret would be created and assigned to a user for a specific use case under that same entity.
Additional Information
For more information, see the developer documentation on Subaccounts.
