Objective
Restoring Verify service to a network which has been blocked by the Verify Anti-Fraud System
Applies To
- Verify API
- Verify Anti-Fraud System
- Blocked Network
Procedure
If you find your Verify traffic has stopped and you have received error code 7 for a particular network, it may indicate that the block is due to Verify Anti-Fraud System.
To unblock a network:
You can unblock the network access for your account by using the Network Unblock API. But first we advise you to:
- Validate the last verifications towards the network (or country) that was blocked, confirm whether they were legitimate verification attempts, and address any suspicious traffic by updating your fraud prevention rules.
If your latest traffic looks genuine then feel free to lift the block on a particular network but we ask you to closely monitor your 2FA traffic as fraudsters have identified your application is vulnerable and will likely try sending fraudulent traffic to the same or different destinations.
If you have any issues restoring your network, submit a support request and one of our support engineers will gladly assist you.
