Additional Information
In terms of the response for the Verify API requests toward these restricted countries, there will be an error code or callback status by webhook depending on the Verify API version with the below details:
- Verify API V1 (Legacy):
Error code 15 will be provided within the API response for each of the Verify API requests toward restricted countries.
- Verify API V2:
The "status": "blocked" and "reason": "The number belongs to a restricted country [ country code ]" within the callback.
Verify works with both fixed or landline and mobile numbers in all countries around the world, excluding our list of restricted countries, for which the service is unavailable. This is a part of our proactive measures to restrict certain countries where we have seen our customers being used as a middleman for conducting illicit activities.
