Indonesia Voice Features and Restrictions

International reach:

• Calls from International numbers are supported.
• For calls to XL network, please note that all calls will be redirected to XL's antispam service. This is to filter out machine/automated calls (eg. Voice OTP). Callers will be asked to enter a specific digit. After caller has input the correct digit, then the call will continue.

Domestic reach:

• Domestic Vonage numbers must only be used to place calls via Vonage Voice API.
• Domestic calls from non-Vonage numbers are best effort.
• The self-service buying of numbers is not available for Indonesia at this time on Vonage's Customer Dashboard. Customers can still request a new number from Customer Dashboard by filling in and submitting the required information or by contacting their Account Manager to start the order. After the request is reviewed and there is no issue, the new number will be reserved for customer.
• Outbound calls from Toll Free numbers are not supported.
• For calls to XL network, please note that calls suspected of originating from a machine will be redirected to XL's antispam service. This is to filter out machine/automated calls (eg. Voice OTP). Callers will be asked to enter a specific digit. After caller has input the correct digit, then the call will continue.

Voice OTP and short duration calls are strictly limited in Indonesia. Some international carriers will charge based on per minute. However, we can still provide voice OTP service with limited carriers. If you want to use voice OTP, you may request it via your account manager. The CLI will be random local numbers.

No other limitations beyond those in our Acceptable Use Policy.
