Question
When am I charged for virtual numbers?
Applies To
- Virtual Numbers
- Billing and Payment
Answer
Virtual numbers are charged on a monthly basis. We will resubscribe the number you have purchased on the same date of the next month. However, if you have purchased a number on 31.01.2015, the next renewal date will be the last date of the next month. For example, 28.02.2015, 31.03.2015, 30.04.2015 and so on.
The renewal date is always relative to the original subscription date and the amount will automatically be deducted from your Vonage API account balance.
What if my account balance is too low to renew the subscriptions?
If you do not have enough funds to pay for your number subscription when we attempt to take payment, your subscription will lapse and we will notify you. You then have a window to buy it back.
Additional Information
Turn on auto-reload to automatically add more credit to your account whenever it gets too low.
Turn on low balance notifications in your Notification Settings so that you can be reminded to top up your account.
