Question
What is a sender id in a RCS message ?
Applies To
- Rich Communication Services
- Messaging
Answer
In order to dispatch an RCS Business Message (RBM), a brand or enterprise must obtain a Verified Sender Identity. This identity ensures that the message displays authentic branding and company details to the recipient.
Unlike SMS, RCS messaging does not necessitate acquiring a long number or short code. Instead, we facilitate the registration of Verified Sender Identities with our partners on behalf of our clients, streamlining the initiation process for Rich Business Messaging.
