Why am I unable to submit a request for a WhatsApp Official Business Account (OBA), and why is the option to submit a request currently disabled?

Resolution
If the Official Business Account (OBA) submit request button is greyed out as shown in the screenshot above, this probably means that your WhatsApp business account isn't meeting all or either one of the necessary criteria outlined below:
Before requesting a Official Business Account ("OBA") the following criteria will need to be met along side the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.
- WABAs must be created at least 30 days before requesting an Official Business Account (OBA)
- The business phone number must have two-factor authentication enabled; follow the instructions here to enable it.
- The business that owns the number should have been verified through Business Verification.

The business phone number's display name should be approved; Display Name approval.
- The business should represent a notable, well-known and often searched for business, brand, or entity.

Please be advised that not all enterprises will be awarded OBA status. Meta maintains rigorous guidelines for determining eligibility for this designation. The company must demonstrate that it is an authentic and reputable brand, verified through the Business Verification process, and the account should comply with all the aforementioned criteria.
