Nepal SMS Features and Restrictions
Sender ID
Nepal Telecom (42901): Dynamic Sender ID is supported.
Smart (42904): Dynamic alpha Sender IDs are supported, but numeric Sender IDs will be changed to a generic Sender ID such as InfoSMS or another randomized alpha Sender ID to ensure delivery.
Nepal Ncell (42902): All Sender IDs will be changed to generic Sender IDs such as InfoSMS or another randomized alpha Sender ID to ensure delivery.
If you want to use your own alphanumeric Sender ID towards Nepal Ncell (42902), contact your account manager.
Content
Social Invites
Social invites are not allowed in Nepal. Any such traffic is blocked by the operators and may result in all of your traffic into Nepal being completely blocked.
If you are sending marketing or promotional content, make sure you have obtained the consent data from the mobile subscriber opting in to receive this content, and hold this data to be submitted to Vonage on demand in the event of a complaint for spamming.
There are no other additional content restrictions beyond those in our Acceptable Use Policy.

Delivery Receipts
Handset delivery receipts are supported to all networks.
Unicode
Unicode is supported to all networks.
Concatenated Messages
Concatenated messages are supported to all networks.
