Use-Case & Content Guidelines

Content filtering

From 13 Feb 2025, URL in message content need to be whitelisted, otherwise they may be blocked. This will be included in the Sender ID registration process. Mobile operators in Thailand are required to submit the URL to the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) in Thailand for whitelisting. Please take note that this may cause additional delays to the lead time for Sender ID registration. It is advisable to avoid using URL in message content unless there is a need for it.

Shared URL shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl) are not allowed.

Registered Sender IDs with contents that contain a URL will need to be re-registered when there is any change in the URL excluding the variable part. For example, if the URL was www.vonage.com/12345 but has changed to api.vonage.com/12345 or www.vnge.com/12345, then re-registration is required to whitelist the new URL.
