Sender ID Guidelines

Alphanumeric Sender ID

Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported.
Numeric Sender ID Numeric sender IDs will be overwritten to ensure delivery.
Generic Sender ID Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc are prohibited.

 

Use-Case & Content Guidelines

Message Content with URL Links There are preventive measures by Japanese networks against phishing SMS that may affect delivery of messages with URL links. The Japanese networks will not disclose their rejection criteria.
Concatenated Unicode Message The maximum length/characters for unicode messages is 670 full-width characters for Docomo, KDDI, and Softbank networks, and 660 full-width characters for the Rakuten network.
Marketing Traffic Before sending any marketing traffic, opt-in consent is required from handset users.
