Sender ID Guidelines

Alphanumeric Sender ID

Sender IDs are case-sensitive and must contain the brand name.

*Pre-Registration is recommended to ensure delivery
Numeric Sender ID

Numeric sender IDs are not supported unless offered by Vonage's 2-way service.

Numeric Sender IDs may be overwritten to ensure delivery.
Generic Sender ID Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc are prohibited.

Use-Case & Content Guidelines

Marketing Traffic Marketing traffic is allowed via preregistration, as with SID registration*. Any marketing traffic must also be sent with a SID beginning with AD- (e.g. AD-XXX)

 

Additional Information

P2P traffic is prohibited.

No political, religious, unsolicited promotion, or gambling content.
