Symptom
When your receive an Inbound MMS to your 10DLC number via Messages API you would see an Un-supported content type.
Applies To
- Messages API
- MMS
- 10DLC
Resolution
- To receive Inbound MMS to your 10DLC you need to link your number to your Application which has Messages capability.
- There are currently two versions of Messages API, version 0 (v0.1) and version 1(v1), and Inbound MMS to some 10DLC numbers would work only with Messages API version 1 (that is v1).
- So to resolve the issue you need to change your Messages API version in your Application to v1.
- If you still see Unsupported after changing the application version to v1 then please contact support.
Cause
Inbound MMS to some 10DLC numbers currently only supports V1(Version 1) of Messages API.
