Symptom
When publishing your video feed on Android Chrome 54, the video feed initially starts normally and sends continuous video, but after a few minutes or less, the video freezes. Subscribers freeze on the last frame sent, and the video stream does not recover. No errors occur, but the camera stops sending new video frames.
Applies To
- Android Chrome 54
- Video Quality
- Video API
Resolution
This publisher must be destroyed and another one recreated. As an alternative, you can use the native Android SDK.
Cause
This is a regression bug introduced by Android Chrome in version 54. It has since been resolved.
