Procedure
Vonage Video API offers a free trial with $10 in credit which can be utilized towards any of the video communication features of our platform. Information about signing up for the trial account is explained in How do I sign up for a Vonage Video API account?
Once your trial is almost expired, you can update your payment information in your Vonage Video API Account to continue using the API features.
To add the payment method to your account:
- Log in to your Vonage Video API Account.
- In the left side navigation bar, select Upgrade Now.
- Select Standard Plan. (To upgrade to Enterprise or Priority plan, contact our sales team.)
- Choose the payment method and enter the details accordingly.
Note: US-based customers can choose either Credit Card or Bank Account (ACH) as the method to pay their invoices. For non-US customers, Credit Card is the only available payment option. You can add any of the following credit cards to your billing information: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, or Diners Club cards. We accept the majority of International cards for non-US customers.
Note: India-based customers can choose the One Time Payment option available on their billing dashboard(Make sure your billing address should be based in India) and follow the steps mentioned here: How-to-use-One-Time-Payment.
Additional Information
You can edit your payment details by clicking Billing on the left sidebar and then scrolling down to the Payment Details section and clicking the Edit Payment Details link.
Your billing cycle will begin at the end of the trial. You will be charged monthly on the day of the month in which you originally signed up. For example, if you signed up on January 15th, your billing cycle will start on February 15th, and you will be charged on March 15th and every 15th of the month afterward.
