Question
Are keywords for pre-approved short codes case sensitive?
Applies To
- Short Codes
- SMS
Answer
No. Short code keywords are not case sensitive. Everything is converted to lower case. For example, if the keyword is “pizza” and the end user texted “Pizza,” it will work. When a keyword is created, it will include all the variations of the keyword automatically, for example, TAXI, taxi, and TaXi.
