Question
What services can I use my Vonage voice number for?
Applies To
- Voice Numbers
- Acceptable Use
Answer
Voice numbers are used in general for inbound calling services such as:
- Conference calling
- Call center applications
- Caller ID for TTS calls
- IVR applications
In some countries it is not possible to use virtual numbers for calling card purposes. Our voice-enabled virtual numbers cannot be used for Adult Services. This is against the terms and conditions of many of our local providers.
Additional Information
Further details around voice number restrictions can be found in Inbound Voice Features, Restrictions, and Capacity as well as the Acceptable Use Policy.
