Procedure
We provide a variety of Message types to help you build and design the customer’s journeys according to your business requirements.
Message types consist of Text message, Quick replies, Button message, Carousel message, Card Message, Image, Video, Notification, List message, Contact, Location, File & Message template.
Text Message: A Text Message allows you to add text (even emojis) to your message, along with variables such as User name, Store name, etc.
The character limit for text messages are channel specific.
(i.e. Depending on selected channels the limit might differ for your text message.)
Quick replies: In Quick Replies, you have button options below your text message, which allows your customers to choose an option & jump to their requirements.
In Quick Replies button options, you can edit the button name and will get trigger options for your Product flow, Collection flow, Bot flow, Live chat or to save a Custom Action(Use this option only when instructed by the support team).
Below is an example of Quick replies.
Button message: In Button Message, you have button options below your text message template to let your users proceed with the information provided in the text template. In the button options, you can edit the button name and will get trigger options for your Product flow, Collection flow, Bot flow, Live chat, Open a website or save a Custom Action(Use this option only when instructed by the support team).
Below is an example of Button Message.
Carousel Message: In the Carousel option you get options to add Images, Titles, Subtitle and Buttons.
In buttons, you can trigger options for your Product flow, Collection flow, Bot flow, Live chat, Open a website (by adding URL) or to save a Custom Action(Use only when instructed by the support team). The limit for Carousel cards are channel-specific.
Below is an example of a Carousel message.
Image: In an Image message type you can either upload your image, add a link to the image or search for images on Giphy.
Below is an example of an image message.
Video: In a video message you can upload your video just by clicking on the upload option and selecting the video file. Once you have uploaded, you can simply check the uploaded video by clicking on the Watch video option.
The size limit for uploading video is 25MB.
Below is an example of a video message.
Card message: In Card message, you can add an Image, Title & Subtitle for a single card. It is enabled only for WhatsApp.

List message: In List message type, you can send text message along with additional sections to your message type, i.e Expanded list view.
In Expanded list view you can add sections with headings and buttons.
Each new added section has a single mandatory button attached, which you can edit according to your business requirements.
You can connect these buttons to product flow, collection flow, bot flow, Live chat or Custom action.
You can add up to 10 sections for a single List message type.
Below is an example of a List message type with user ratings.
Contact: In the Contact message type you can share a contact’s name and number in your message.
Below is an example of how to add a Contact to the message template.
Location: In a Location message, you can share your store location for the region or a pickup address details with your customer.
Below is an example of location message type.
File: In a File message type, you can upload & share a file (e.g. Store brochure), directly with your customers in conversation flows. Once uploaded you can view your file just by clicking on View file option anytime. To replace an uploaded file, click on Upload file option.
The maximum limit for file upload is 60MB.
Supported file types are pdf, doc, Xls, ppt, txt, gif, Avi, mp3.
Below is an example of a File message.
Message template: A Message template is a channel-specific message type, which is supported only for WhatsApp. Make sure you have created at least a single WhatsApp message template under Sales channels → WhatsApp.
Select the required template from the list of templates in the dropdown.
