Procedure
SIP Interconnect enables telephony interoperability for your Vonage Video API powered app.
- Usage is based on the duration of each call to a SIP endpoint @ <SIP interconnect rate> per subscribed minute. See pricing page
- SIP usage will be an additional charge on top of streamed subscribed minutes (SSM) or Participant Minutes (PPM) for regular Vonage Video sessions.
- By default, SIP Interconnect will subscribe to all participants as they enter and leave the call.

Case 1
A (1) participant in a call with one SIP Interconnect subscribing to A
- Example: 30-minute session, SIP Interconnect starts at 1 min
- Start time A: 00 minutes
- Stop time A: 28 minutes
- Total SIP subscribed minutes: 27 minutes
Case 2
A&B (2) participants in session with one SIP Interconnect subscribing to A and B
- Example: 30-minute session, SIP Interconnect starts immediately
- Start time A: 00 minutes
- Stop time A: 30 minutes
- Total for A: 30 minutes
- Start time B: 1 minute
- Stop time B: 28 minutes
- Total for B: 27 minutes
- Total SIP subscribed minutes for A&B = 30+27 minutes
