What is a Carousel Template

Carousel templates allow you to send a single text message accompanied by a set of up to 10 carousel cards in a horizontally scrollable view:
A carousel template consists of four sections.

  • Message Bubble
  • Card header
  • Card body
  • Card buttons

Each carousel card must include a mandatory media header, which can be an image or a video, a card body text, and at least one button.

Card header:  It is mandatory to upload a media header for an added carousel card. The card header supports either image (.jpg or .png) or video (.mp4) media only. The maximum limit for an image is 5MB and video is 16MB.
The media header format type must be the same across all cards, i.e. If the initial card header contains an image, subsequent card headers must also feature images only.
Card Body: The card body supports the input of the text with a maximum character limit of 160.
Card buttons: Carousel template card supports up to 2 buttons. Buttons can be the same or a mix of Quick reply buttons, or URL buttons.

At least one card button is mandatory per carousel card. All the added buttons in each card must be of the same type and in the same order.
