What are the requirements for launching a Rich Communication Services (RCS) Agent in Germany ?

Answer

The Vonage Onboarding Team will assist you throughout the RCS onboarding process however we’ve compiled the information below so that you know what to expect during the Germany RCS onboarding journey.

Required Documents  

  • Brand activation form: The Vonage Onboarding Team will share a brand activation form with you.

Other Requirements

  • Video: During the submission process on your customer dashboard a video is required and the following information will need to be included:
    • Opt in:
      • QR Code: when using a QR code the end to end process for opt in must be shown in the video that you provide
      • Consent: There must be a place on your website where end users enter their number and provide consent to receive messages
    • Opt out: The video that you provide must show the opt out message and the reply when an end user replies with “stop”
    • Use case: The video that you provide must showcase the use case; the video will need to show an example of a message being sent by the agent based on the use case that you have selected

Things to look out for

  • MAU Pricing: If you wish to have MAU pricing (monthly active user) please reach out to your Account Manager to initiate that discussion.

Privacy policy link

  • Must be in German
  • When populating the fields in the dashboard the domain in the privacy policy link must be related to the brand
  • For example if the Brand name is “Vonage” the privacy policy  link must bring you to the privacy policy  for Vonage
