Sender ID Guidelines

Alphanumeric Sender ID

Alpha sender IDs are generally supported.
Numeric Sender ID

Numeric sender IDs are not supported unless offered by Vonage's 2-way service.

The numeric Sender IDs will be overwritten to ensure delivery, or might get rejected by the operators.
Generic Sender ID Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc are prohibited. Please use a representative brand or business name to ensure delivery.
