Use-Case & Content Guidelines

  • A total space of 5 characters should be reserved at the end of every SMS for the network operator code (BXXX) to be added by operators to identify the specific gateway used to deliver the messages.
  • The Turkish Telecom Authority has announced a regulation that will come into force on 1 April 2026, requiring all local mobile network operators to block any international A2P SMS containing a URL or link sent to Turkish mobile subscribers. Any message that includes a link—whether a shortened URL, tracking link, unsubscribe link, or a plain domain name—will be fully blocked once the regulation is implemented.
This restriction applies to all senders, and only SMS messages that do not contain URLs will continue to be delivered after the enforcement date.
