Sender ID

All A2P (application-to-person) traffic to Cuba must have the Sender ID whitelisted before the traffic will be accepted. The only network is CubaCel (36801).

Pre-Registered Sender ID

To register your use case or whitelist your Sender ID (alpha only), contact your account manager or submit a Support request. Note that we are unable to guarantee or indicate any timelines for activation.

Due to restrictions from the local mobile operator, all A2P (application-to-person) traffic to Cuba must have the Sender ID whitelisted before the traffic will be accepted. The only network is CubaCel (36801).

Although all registration requests are being passed on to the network for activation, Vonage and all other participants experience severe delays and little feedback on expected timelines. Additionally, in our experience, only globally recognizable brands are likely to be successfully registered.
