Symptom
My token shows as invalid.
Applies To
- Session Connect
- Invalid Token
Resolution
When this issue happens, check on the following:
- Make sure you are using the latest of the Video API Opentok Environment Server SDK or the Video API Unified Environment Server SDK
- Validate your Token with our credential validator tool to ensure that the Session and Token are not mismatched. The tool also verifies the token isn't expired, which may be the case if you're passing the token from e.g. a js file, vs generating the token.
- You should also check your account status on the Opentok Environment Account Portal or the Unified Environment Dashboard.
Additional Information
For more information, see Error 1004 when calling Session.connect.
