Question
Does Live Captions comply with applicable provisions of GDPR?
Applies To
- Live Captions API
Answer
Yes, Vonage has Standard Contractual Clauses in place that allow us to satisfy our data transfer obligations with respect to the use of Live Captions.
Live Captions uses a dispatch-and-forget service, and media or artifacts are not retained by the captions provider or Vonage. Additionally, the Media server acts with the captions provider, ensuring that client IPs are not exposed to the provider. Data is encrypted in transit.
