Sender ID Guidelines

Alphanumeric Sender ID

Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported for networks except MTN*.

*Pre-Registration is mandatory for the MTN network.

Sender IDs are case-sensitive and must contain the brand name.
Numeric Sender ID Numeric sender IDs are supported on all networks except for MTN, where the sender ID may be overwritten to ensure delivery.
Generic Sender ID Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc are prohibited.

Use-Case & Content Guidelines

Marketing Traffic Before sending any marketing traffic, opt-in consent is required from handset users.

 

Additional Information

P2P traffic is prohibited.

No political, religious, unsolicited promotion, or gambling content.

There are no additional content restrictions beyond those in our Acceptable Use Policy.
