10DLC campaign use cases determine the nature of the messages you will send to your subscribers. This campaign use case will have an impact on the information that needs to be provided for the campaign, and may induce different rules regarding the opt-in mechanisms allowed. Some use cases require you to elect sub-use cases.

Note that the campaign use case will also determine the subscription cost to run the campaign, and will be used alongside your brand vetting score to define the maximum throughputs allowed by the carriers. This guide will outline the process to register a 10DLC campaign.

 

Standard campaigns

Those campaigns will allow most customers to run their messaging programs. Most standard campaigns represent a $10 (€10) monthly subscription fee. They do not require additional review from the carriers pre- or post-registration.

This is a campaign that by definition will contain traffic that correspond to more than one specific use case

Special campaigns

Those campaigns will often require pre- or post-registration approvals from Vonage and the carriers. Each special use case will require different specific approvals, and may involve more scrutiny during the review phase. Please consider that more time may be required to complete the approval process when applying.
