Due to recent changes, all 10DLC Campaigns are now reviewed by our compliance team prior to being activated for number linking and for traffic to be able to be sent.
Campaign Statuses
In order to simplify the different steps of the approval of the campaigns, we have introduced new statuses:
Campaign Status | Definition |
Pending Review | Your campaign is with our compliance team for review and approval |
Updates Required |
You are required to make changes to your pending campaign (see campaign activity in the section below) |
Carriers Review | Your campaign has been approved by Vonage and is now being reviewed by our Partners & Carriers |
Active | Your campaign is now active. You can link numbers and start sending traffic |
Pending Cancellation |
Your campaign will remain active until the next billing period, which will mark the end of your paid subscription (This action cannot be reversed) |
Canceled |
Your campaign is now canceled. Please create a new campaign if you wish to resume traffic for this program |
Suspended |
Your campaign has been suspended due to a possible violation with 10DLC T&Cs. Our teams may reach out to you or terminate your campaign upon their review. |
Terminated |
Your campaign has been terminated due to a confirmed violation with 10DLC T&Cs. For more details, please check the reason provided in the Campaign Activity section. |
Rejected |
Only applicable to partner campaigns (imported into Vonage but registered on TCR) Vonage has reviewed the campaign and requires the campaign to be updated to be compliant with 10DLC requirements. Please update the campaign details accordingly through TCR's API or portal, then resubmit the campaign sharing request with Vonage. |
Campaign Activity
We have added a new feature that allows our customer to see the different events that occurred on a campaign. When our teams are reviewing a campaign and request changes, the detail of the changes required will be provided in the latest event.
Note that we are also sharing events related to campaign suspensions and terminations.
For customers using our public API endpoints, note that the campaign events are listed within an array named "last_status_changes" returned when calling:
GET /brands/:brand_id/campaigns/:campaign_id
Please note that currently, any campaign that is being rejected by our Partners or the Carriers will be automatically terminated. It is therefore important that our customers comply with the latest 10DLC campaign requirements and provide true and accurate information when registering campaigns. We also recommend our customers to keep an eye on any newly registered campaigns until it becomes active to make sure that any updates required can be provided as early as possible and reduce the time for the campaign to be activated.
