Question
Where are Android SDK artifacts published?
Applies To
- Vonage Video API
- Android SDK
Answer
Vonage Video API Android SDK artifacts are published in Maven Central. The artifact ID is opentok-android-sdk.
Users of older versions should update build pipelines and projects using the native Android SDK. Bintray, the previous hosting platform, was deprecated as of 1 May 2021.
SDK versions 2.16.x and older could depend on additional binaries that may not be available in Maven. Users of these older versions should locally download required binaries to prevent interruption to development and testing processes, and migrate to the latest version of the SDK. The latest versions include major performance improvements and bug fixes.
