Why does the Identity Insights SIM Swap response return status.code: OK with the message "Certain attributes were omitted as not applicable or unavailable", and why is latest_sim_swap_at missing?

Answer

This is expected behavior and does not indicate a platform error. Some carrier networks support is_swapped but do not expose the SIM swap timestamp (latest_sim_swap_at). When the carrier does not return the timestamp, the API responds with status.code: OK and the message "Certain attributes were omitted as not applicable or unavailable".

The is_swapped field alone is sufficient for fraud prevention — it confirms whether a SIM swap occurred within the requested time window, which is the primary signal used to trigger additional security controls.
