Question
What are the Rich Communication Services (RCS) rating principles ?
Applies To
- Rich Communication Services
- Messaging
Answer
Introduction:
Branded Text allows SMS API customers to start using Rich Communication Services (RCS) with no additional integration work required. Your existing SMS traffic can be automatically upgraded to RCS for supported devices and markets. For devices or regions where RCS isn’t supported, messages will continue to be delivered as SMS—ensuring consistent reach. A capability check is performed upfront to seamlessly route messages as RCS where possible, and SMS elsewhere.
