Sender ID Guidelines

Alphanumeric Sender ID

Dynamic alphanumeric Sender IDs are supported except MTN (64502).

*Pre-registration is mandatory for the MTN (64502) network.

Sender IDs are case-sensitive and must contain the brand name.
Numeric Sender ID Numeric sender IDs are supported on all networks except MTN (64502), where the sender ID will be overwritten to ensure delivery.
Generic Sender ID Generic sender IDs such as INFO, SMS, NOTICE etc are prohibited.

Marketing Traffic Before sending any marketing traffic, opt-in consent is required from handset users.
