Publisher Audio Fallback serves as a proactive quality monitoring mechanism preserving call quality by disabling video during challenging network scenarios. The feature operates by continuously monitoring Quality of Service (QoS) statistics through the Client SDK and provides audio fallback to preserve the audio communication channel.
In situations where network bandwidth is constrained, the feature intelligently disables video publishing to prioritize and enhance the audio streaming experience for receiving participants. This feature is available on the publisher properties of all of the web and native SDK enhancing our audio fallback with capability that benefits both P2P/relayed and routed sessions.
