Question
Within how long does a multipart SMS over SMPP need to be submitted?
Applies To
- SMS Request via SMPP
Answer
There’s a “window of time” of 20 minutes where all parts of a multipart SMS over SMPP must be submitted.
A multipart SMS that is submitted within more than 20 minutes will be rejected with the error “rejected-missing-part”. A negative DLR with the status "REJECTED" and error code "10" will be sent to the customer.
