Update - June 9th, 2023 at 6pm EDT, 10pm GMT (10pm UTC)
As originally reported in September 2022, our Video API service continues to be blocked by the local telecom regulators in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to the latest update to Vonage from the UAE telecom regulator, an exemption application that was submitted by Vonage is still under review. While restoring Video API access in the region continues to be a top priority for Vonage and we are diligently seeking a resolution, the local regulatory authorities maintain full discretion on timing of the approval.
We thank you for your patience. New updates will appear here as soon as they are available.
