What are the valid characters that can be used in the Vonage Video API account name and profile information while signing up and creating an account?

When you sign up for a Video API account, the following are the valid characters you can use when filling out your profile information.

FirstName / Lastname

• Only accepts alphanumeric, space, comma, period, apostrophe, and dash (A-Za-z0-9 ,.'-).

CompanyName (it will be assigned as the Account name by default after signup)

• length: minimum: 2
• Only accepts alphanumeric, space, period, at sign, underscore, and dash (A-Za-z0-9 .@_-)

Password

• Use 8 or more characters
• Use uppercase and lowercase letters (e.g. Aa)
• Use a number

If you enter the characters other than those listed above, an alert will appear next to the input box.

This will be applied while naming your new account as well.

Additional Information

Please note that languages using non-English special characters are not supported while naming the Video API account and profile information.
