10DLC - Update - New requirements for 10DLC Campaigns (November 17th, 2022)
TCR and carriers are implementing new attributes for all campaigns, as well as some changes to the minimum required characters to provide for some specific attributes. The changes will come be live on our product on November 17th.
The detail of the changes is outlined below:
List of new attributes
New required attributes:
- "description" (already exist - now becomes required)
- "message_flow" (aka. call-to-action)
- "opt_in_message" (required if opt-in via message - SMS or MMS)
- "opt_out_message"
- "help_message"
New optional attributes:
- "opt_in_keywords"
- "opt_out_keywords" -> default "STOP"
- "help_keywords" -> default "HELP"
The keywords attributes take in a string. Each keyword is separated by a comma ',' in the string.

Other changes to requirements
There is a secondary change in requirements regarding the minimum length of the string for the following attributes:
- 40 characters minimum:
- "message_flow"
- "description"
- 20 characters minimum:
- All sample messages (sample 1 to 5)
- "opt_in_message"
- "opt_out_message"
- "help_message"
Note: We have implemented all these attributes on our service from September 22nd, as optional attributes. The minimum length requirement is applied to all new attributes from September 22nd, minimum length requirements on existing attributes will be applied on November 17th.
