Pre-registration is not required. All Guatemala networks accept alpha Sender ID and shortcodes. Guatemala Telefonica / Movistar (70403) accepts Central American longcodes as well.

Delivery Receipts

Delivery receipts to Guatemala Claro (70401) are fake and therefore delivery ratios are not a good measure of quality of delivery.

Delivery receipts to other networks in Guatemala (70403 Telefonica / Movistar and 70402 Comcel / Tigo) are unreliable.
